Menar Jonban
One of the most interesting historical places of Esfahan is MenarJonban wich is
at 6 kms west of Esfahan .There are two minarets on the side of abu abdollah
tomb which are known as enar jonban. According to the tomb stone , the
construction date is 716AH. (1316 A.D)
Chehel Sotun Palace
This Palace was constructed in 1057 A.H(1647 AD) with an area of 67000 sq.m.
This Construction has a portico,18 column and mirror hall with architrave ,
beautiful and precious painyings
Emam Square (Nagheshe Jahan)
There was square called Naghshe jahan, before Esfahan was chosen the capital by
safavid,During the refion of Shah Abbas the great,many his-torical monuments
were built around it such as : imam Mosque ,Sheykh Lotfol-lah ,Aliqapu,Qeysarieh
portal. This square measure 510 meter by 163 meter
Sio-Se-Pol
This is a beautiful and fascinating bridge which was established on the
Zayanderood in the safavid age. The establishment of the bridge was constructed
to the famous emir of shah abbas,this bridge linking Chaharbagh abbasi st. to
the Higher Chaharbagh st.the bridge used to previously have forty spans 33 of
wich have now remined, the reminder being blocked. On either side of the bridge
there is a roofed narrow passage seen along the bridge length.
