The Exhibition opened on November 8, 2006, with a message by Vice-President and Head of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization of Iran (CHHTOI) Mr. Mashaie. Governor General of Isfahan, Bakhtiari, Deputy CHHTOI Head Dr. Malekzadeh, Director General of the Isfahan branch of the CHHTOI, Mr. Baktash, and a number of provincial directors, and officials of tourism organizations and institutions, as well as representatives of the private and public institutions, and a group of representatives of foreign pavilions were attending the inaugural ceremony at the Exhibitions Center at the historical bridge of the province. The speeches raised in the meeting were both in Farsi and English. The Exhibition was held from November 8-11 with participation of 70 institutions and the public and private companies. Malaysia, the UAE, Thailand, Lebanon, Qatar, Nigeria, Germany, Turkey and China and different Iranian provinces were represented in the Exhibition.
